CLIENT: Self-InitiatedCOMPLETED: In progressDale Fortune has been building guitars since the early 1970s. He learned his skills from the masters who built some of the first electric guitars in the '50s, and was a personal friend of Leo Fender.

I approached him about turning a guitar build he authored online into a fully-fledged book. In it, he teaches how to build a vintage-style electric guitar from scratch using only basic tools and readily available materials.

This is the cover of the forthcoming book; the inner pages are currently a work in progress. I also had the privilege of playing and photographing the finished guitars for the book—a 12-string and a 6-string.

CLIENT: Chico State IMCCOMPLETED: Spring 2010This poster was aimed at Chico State design students who are more than halfway through the school's design program but haven’t yet held a job or internship in the field. It needed to make a concise, strong statement to generate some hype around the school of design—and ultimately get students in the door to interview at IMC's studio.&#60;img src="http://c0573862.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/1/1/34008/438408/3010-Intern-Recruitment3.png" border="0" width="640" height="425" align="left" /&#62; &#60;img src="http://c0573862.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/1/1/34008/438408/_WMP4968.jpg" border="0" width="640" height="425" align="left" /&#62; </description>

RELEASED August 2008→ Download the album ♫ Museum

The Movers &#38; The Shakers was a project that could only be described as greatly ironic, or perhaps ironically great. With no more than three band members in the same place at the same time, they decided to put all their efforts towards recording their first and final album.

Drawing from a wide range of influences, M&#38;S put together a more musically diverse album than they planned. This is music that no one in this day and age will recognize as "good," but in 20 years hipsters of the future will hail as greater than that of The Beatles.

Trung – vocals, songs, guitar / Wes – guitar, bass, keys, drums
Brad – vocals, songs, guitar / Brendan – drums, percussion

TV Girl is a project by Trung Ngo, Brad Petering, and Wes Mitchell. During their years apart at college, they collaborated long-distance on new material via email. Now they've decided to re-visit those songs, adding a layer of production and further instrumentation to the tracks before they're released together as a full album.
