Chico State’s commencement program has remained relatively traditional over the years, generally sticking to script typefaces and placid photography. My challenge was to update its look and show more of Chico's community, not just its campus.

Using photos I’d taken, in addition to photos from friends and the school photographer, I assembled a collage that doesn’t just show Chico’s campus, but also the surrounding environment and community to encapsulate the full Chico experience.
